About Us

 

Not only do I love using natural skin care products but I also love creating them! I must say that this journey has truly been a blessing; however, it came with many challenging & frustrating times. I have a beautiful 8 year old daughter who developed eczema & several allergies (peanuts, shellfish, soy, gluten, eggs, dairy & tree nuts) as an infant. As a new mother I was completely in unfamiliar territory & not to mention sad because it was so many things my daughter couldn't eat. I felt guilty & wondered if it was something I did or ate during my pregnancy that triggered this! After countless visits to the doctors & strong steroid creams & ointments, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

 

I studied eczema & allergies and soon realized they were directly connected with each other. I began treating her allergies & skin condition from the inside out since our skin is the largest (eliminatory) organ in/on our bodies. I incorporated a vegetable based diet & began juicing her daily. In addition to that, I began researching essential oils, natural butters, salts & other ingredients & voila! I started making my own creams so that she wouldn't be subjected to those strong & harsh steroid creams prescribed to her. She has improved drastically and we are now able to incorporate more things in her diet that she wasn't able to eat early on.

What began as one of my most difficult challenges in life has become the most fulfilling hobby/venture I could ever imagine. I truly believe that although skin types vary in color, texture, etc., skin care is universal. That is why I've turned my passion into a viable business where I can help those that just need a place to start in treating their skin.
